Sauna sale: outdoor saunas for sale at reduced prices

Looking for a sauna for sale at less than full price? Of the 489 outdoor saunas we track, 213 (44%) showed a higher “was” price beside the current one when we checked. We leave out nine of them, because the retailer’s own pages showed two different prices. That leaves 204, at 15 of the 23 UK retailers in our data, and this page lists every one, biggest reduction first. After that come the cheapest saunas at any price, what to check on a second-hand sauna, and how to judge a Black Friday deal. Every price was checked on 30 September 2026.

A “was” price is the retailer's own claim. We record it as we found it and can't confirm the sauna was ever sold at that price, so treat each reduction as a guide and compare the price you'd pay with similar saunas.

Outdoor saunas on sale now

The table opens with the biggest percentage reduction first. Use the filters to see one type, a seat count, or only saunas with a heater in the price: 65 of the 204 reduced listings include one.

Prices include VAT. The “was” price is the higher price the retailer shows next to its current one. It is the retailer's own claim: we record it as we found it and can't confirm the sauna was sold at that price, or for how long. Each row shows the date we checked it against the retailer's page; the latest check was 30 September 2026. The retailer's checkout price is what counts. We may earn a commission if you buy through these links.

The biggest sauna reductions

These are the ten largest reductions by percentage, on the prices we recorded:

In pounds, the largest is the Vaasa Sauna House 5.9m x 3.7m at Tuin: £17,639 against a “was” price of £27,137, a difference of £9,498.

A large percentage isn’t the same as a low price, and it doesn’t tell you what’s in the box. Before you compare two reduced saunas, check whether each price includes the heater, the roof covering and delivery. What the ticket price includes explains what’s usually left out.

How much are saunas reduced by?

Across the 204 reduced listings, the median reduction is 12% and the median difference between the “was” price and the price now is £820. The largest is 49%. By type, counting every listing that showed a “was” price:

And by retailer:

Counted from each retailer's own pages on 30 September 2026. Retailers not shown had no listing with a “was” price in our data. The median and largest reductions leave out the 9 listings with two different prices (6 at Waltons, 2 at Tuin, 1 at Vidalux).

At nine retailers (BAST Sauna, CenturaHeat, Finnmark Sauna, Palmako, Polar Recovery, Pro-Line Direct, Quick-garden, Tuin, Waltons), at least three-quarters of the listings carry a “was” price. When nearly everything a retailer sells is marked down, the lower price is the one to judge it by: it may simply be what that retailer charges. We can’t tell you how long any of these prices have stood, because we began recording them in September 2026. Our UK Sauna Price Index records every price each quarter, so from the next edition you’ll be able to see which prices have really moved.

Cheap outdoor saunas: the lowest prices

If a low price matters more to you than a reduction, ignore the “was” column. Leaving tents aside, 32 outdoor saunas in our data cost under £3,000, from 10 retailers, and 17 of them include a heater. The lowest price with a heater is £1,999 for the Eir Compact Garden Sauna Set – 6kw Heater and Roofing Felt Included at Palmako. Two more would be on this list, but are left out because the retailer’s pages showed two different prices. The cheapest sauna of each type sold with a heater:

The cheapest of each type with a heater in the price, among listings whose retailer publishes the seats, size and height. Follow the type links for every model: barrel saunas, cabin saunas, pods and cubes and outdoor infrared saunas.

Every outdoor sauna under £3,000:

Prices include VAT. Each row shows the date we checked it against the retailer's own page; the latest check was 30 September 2026. Prices change: the retailer's checkout price is what counts. Height chips show the retailer's stated height: green 2.5 m or lower, amber taller. That's before your base, and it isn't a planning check (see why 2.5 m matters). “Not recorded” means we could not confirm the figure on the retailer's page.

Cheaper still are sauna tents, which pack away after use: the tent alone starts at £795, and 9 tents sold with a stove or heater cost under £3,000, from £1,495.

What a cheap sauna price leaves out

• The heater. 5 of the 32 saunas under £3,000 are priced without one. The sauna heaters we list start at £355, so add that before you compare.
• The base and the electrics. Neither is normally in the price. Our garden sauna cost calculator adds them to the model you have in mind.
• Assembly. 13 of the 32 come from retailers that describe their saunas as kits you put up yourself. Where retailers quote for assembly, it runs from £350 to £2,100: see who installs a sauna and what it costs.
• Space inside. The cheapest saunas are small: the median footprint under £3,000 is 2.6 m², against 5.5 m² across all the saunas we list. If two seats is enough, compare every 2 person outdoor sauna.

Second-hand saunas: what to check

We don’t list second-hand saunas. Each one is a one-off, and there’s no retailer’s page to check its price or its specification against. If you’re looking at a used sauna on a marketplace, these checks follow from the heater makers’ own instructions and the UK rules:

• Compare it with a new one first. Tents aside, 17 new saunas with a heater cost under £3,000 in our data, from £1,999. Most retailers state a warranty on a new one (18 of the 23 in our data), and for most online orders you have 14 days after delivery to cancel (custom-made items are an exception).
• The heater. Ask for its make and model and the manual, then look it up on sauna heaters to see the room size and supply it’s rated for. Harvia’s manual says its heater may only be connected to the mains by an authorised, professional electrician, so budget for one to connect and check it, whatever the seller tells you.
• The stones. Harvia says that with use about twice a week the stones should be changed once a year. Assume a used heater needs a new set.
• The supply at your house. A used sauna needs the same circuit as a new one. Work out what its heater draws with the electrical supply calculator.
• A wood-burning stove. In a smoke control area in England, wood can only be burned in a Defra-exempt appliance. Find out whether you live in one with our smoke control area checker before you buy a sauna with a stove.
• The timber. Look at the floor frame, the lowest boards and the roof for rot and signs of leaks. Harvia says lacquer must not be used on a sauna’s interior surfaces, so if the inside has been varnished or painted, ask what with.
• Taking it apart and moving it. A sauna that arrived as a kit comes apart as one. Measure the way out of the seller’s garden and the way into yours: see delivery and getting it into the garden.
• The paperwork. Ask for the receipt, the assembly manual and any electrical certificate. A warranty may not pass to a second owner, so ask the maker before you rely on it.
• Your rights. Citizens Advice says you still have rights whether you bought an item new or second-hand. Its guide explains what they are and how to use them.

Black Friday sauna deals

Black Friday falls on 27 November in 2026. We began recording sauna prices in September 2026, so we have no record of what retailers charged last Black Friday and can’t tell you which offers come back each year.

What this site can give you is a dated starting point. Every sauna price here was checked on 30 September 2026, before the Black Friday season, and 213 listings already showed a “was” price on that date. To judge a Black Friday offer:

1. Note the price now. Find the sauna in the full table, or download the data, which records the price and any “was” price for all 489 listings.
2. Compare the Black Friday price with that figure, not with the “was” price printed beside it.
3. Compare like with like. Check that the heater, the delivery and any assembly are the same in both prices.
4. Check the lead time. A sauna ordered in late November may not arrive before Christmas: delivery times are on UK sauna retailers compared.

When we re-check prices, the changelog lists what changed, and the price index reports the movement each quarter.

Ways to pay less without waiting for a sale

• Buy the same sauna from a different shop. Some models are sold by more than one retailer at different prices: see same sauna, different shop.
• Buy the sauna without a heater and choose your own. 237 listings are priced without one. Size it with the heater size calculator, then compare Harvia and HUUM prices.
• Put it up yourself. See what’s in the box, and how long it takes, on sauna kits.
• Choose fewer seats. The median 2 person sauna costs £4,878; the median 4 person sauna costs £5,993.
• See them side by side. Our best garden saunas are picked by published rules on price and specification, not by the size of a discount.
