The address

Our data is available through an MCP server, the open standard that lets AI assistants call outside tools. The address is:

It’s free and read-only, and it needs no key or account. It answers from the same dataset as the rest of the site, checked on 30 September 2026.

Add it to your assistant

Most assistants that support MCP have a setting for adding a custom connector, sometimes called a remote MCP server:

  1. Open your assistant’s settings and find connectors or MCP servers.
  2. Choose to add a custom one, and paste the address above.
  3. Start a chat and ask something like “Which four-person barrel saunas under £4,000 include a heater?” or “What would a 9 kW sauna cost to run twice a week?”

The steps differ between assistants and plans, so check your assistant’s own help pages if you can’t find the setting.

What it can do

search_cold_plunge_tubs Search ice baths and cold plunge tubs by type, price, size and whether a chiller is included.
estimate_running_cost Electricity cost of a sauna session at the current Ofgem price cap, from the heater’s output.

Every answer carries the date the data was checked and a link back to the page it came from. Prices change, so the retailer’s own page is what counts.

For developers

The server speaks JSON-RPC 2.0 over HTTP (the MCP “streamable HTTP” transport) and is stateless: send a POST with Content-Type: application/json. A GET to the same address returns a short description of the server and its tools. There’s no rate limit beyond our host’s, but please cache what you can.
