These are the 34 outdoor saunas in our dataset that the retailer lists for up to two people, from 13 UK retailers, with prices from £1,999.99 to £13,395 and a median of £4,878. Where a listing gives a range, such as “1–2 person”, we count the top figure, so treat two as the most it seats, not the number who’ll have room to stretch out. Every price was checked on 30 September 2026. Sauna tents are left out: see sauna tents. Looking for a sauna for one? Go to 1 person outdoor saunas.

Prices include VAT. Each row shows the date we checked it against the retailer's own page; the latest check was 30 September 2026. Prices change: the retailer's checkout price is what counts. Height chips show the retailer's stated height: green 2.5 m or lower, amber taller. That's before your base, and it isn't a planning check (see why 2.5 m matters). “Not recorded” means we could not confirm the figure on the retailer's page.

Height and planning permission
All 23 of the 2 person saunas with a stated height are 2.5 m or lower. In England and Wales, an outbuilding within 2 m of a boundary must be no more than 2.5 m high overall to be permitted development. In England, height is measured from ground level, so the base counts. Test your own garden with the planning permission checker.
Where the heater’s output is stated, the 2 person saunas here come with 2.5 kW to 6 kW, and the median is 3.6 kW. Heater makers size by the room’s volume, not the seat count: Harvia’s rule of thumb is about 1 kW for each cubic metre, with extra for glass and uninsulated walls. Work yours out with the heater size calculator, then see what that output draws with the electrical supply calculator.
Mostly not. 18 of the 34 two-seat listings state the supply the sauna needs, and 15 of those mention hardwiring, a dedicated supply, a 32 A supply or an electrician. A standard socket gives 13 A, which is about 3 kW, and the traditional heaters included with these saunas run from 3 kW to 6 kW. The Harvia, HUUM and Narvi heater manuals we’ve read each say an electrician must connect the heater. Read the supply line on the listing before you order, and see electrics for a garden sauna.
Four of the 2 person saunas here are infrared or hybrid models built to stand outdoors, from £3,320. A hybrid has infrared panels and a traditional heater with stones in the same cabin.
Few outdoor saunas are built for one. One listing in our data is sold for a single person: the Steam & Oak Pod Sauna 1.6m at Steam & Oak, £3,995, priced without a heater.

Indoors there’s more choice for one: we found three one-person infrared cabins for indoor use, from £1,499. They’re listed on home sauna: indoor or in the garden?
